| We have just finished our first full year of competitive running ending with December 12ths snow filled Cross Country National Championships. I would like to say thank you to all the kids and parents who participated this cross country season and they ALL should be very proud of their achievements because cross country is one the most mentally a physically demanding sports today. In order for us to have a competitive season we mearly ran on a average a 20-25 miles a week at our peak in the middle of the season. That alone takes great dedication and discipline. We finished up with one of our runners Ailey Leduff qualifying for the National Championships in cross country finishing 8th in the Pacific Association Championships with a time of 13:43 in the the 3k bantam girls, very respectable time. An competed in the nationals with 18 inches of snow on the ground and finished in 91st place out of 251 registered and 198 ran with a time of 14:13. To place in the top 100 was not an easy task especially in 18 inches of snow against the best in the nation which makes her one of the best in the nation. We are having our first preseason meeting for the 2010 season on 1/23/2010 at 1:00 call for location 650 278 7877.
